KPC is excited to participate in Saturday’s festival to showcase the opening in Poolesville, MD of a new performance center for Riverworks. Founded in 2022, Riverworks offers visual arts, music, creative writing, storytelling and connection!

Saturday, June 10, between 11am-2pm, we will host Rachel Garcia-Palmer, a plein air and studio artist. Plein air painting is about leaving the four walls of your studio behind and experiencing painting and drawing in the landscape. There are many landscapes to choose from at KPC and we invite you to stop by on Saturday to observe her process as she paints.

While you’re here at KPC, spend some time walking the trails and enjoying the prayer room and all that KPC has to offer.

Rachel’s finished product, as well as those of the other artists, will be auctioned off between 4-7pm, along with performances – all in the new venue in downtown Poolesville, MD.
