We wish His Holiness the 5th Karma Kuchen Rinpoche a very Happy Birthday! May he have a long, healthy life and may all his aspirations be accomplished!

His Holiness Karma Kuchen Rinpoche was recognized by His Holiness Dudjom Rinpoche and His Holiness Penor Rinpoche as the unmistaken incarnation of the previous Karma Kuchen Rinpoche, Karma Thegchog Nyingpo.

His Holiness Penor Rinpoche looked after him at Namdroling Monastery and provided him with basic religious education. He excelled in all monastic training and traditional knowledge of the Palyul lineage, receiving numerous Nyingma teachings from great masters such as His Holiness Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche and Penor Rinpoche. On August 14, 2000, he was enthroned as the 12th throne holder of the Palyul lineage.

Since his arrival in Tibet, he has built many temples, stupas, prayer wheels, images of deities and other objects of veneration and faith. Under the direction of His Holiness Penor Rinpoche, he built a magnificent temple within the monastery premises.

Of the many remarkable qualities that he possesses, the most striking quality is his strict and pure observance of all the vows of a monk. He is the very embodiment of pure conduct in these degenerate times.
