If you are looking for a different way to welcome the new year, or you’re feeling anxious about the year ahead, come make the first words you speak in 2025 words of Dharma – it is truly a powerful and beautiful experience. This year, we will have two opportunities to participate.
Most of these practices will be in English and they are open to anyone of any religion. Do not feel obligated to recite the vows or prayers, or to stay for the entire practice. You are more than welcome to simply sit in companionship and absorb the energy of the moment.
Practices will be available in the Prayer Room and Facebook Live, YouTube Live, and Zoom: 433 108 1002/Puja.
Registration is free and optional, but if you would, please take a moment to let us know if you’ll be joining us.
7:30 – 9:00 pm Chime Sog Tik Tsog
This guided meditation and offering puja (also called a tsog) practice are dedicated to balancing Mother Earth’s elements. By meditating on earth, water, fire, wind, space and life force through your own body, you extend your life force and the planet’s.
We invite you to bring food offerings to make this a bountiful puja. Please make sure offerings are individual servings or individually wrapped (examples: mini brownies, tangerines, snack-size candy bars). We will also celebrate the birthday of the throneholder of the Palyul Lineage, Penor Yangsi Rinpoche, during this practice.
